Digital giant Amkette has launched a new device 'EvoTV' which enables the access of Internet for the users on their television. The company has claimed the device to bring a revolution in digital era and even better then the Smart TV.
Priced at just Rs. 9,950 the device will be available in the major cities like Delhi (and NCR), Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata by end of June. However, the magical television will be launched in 40 other major cities in August.
Amktette's Evo TV is an integration of four components: Evo Box, Evo Touch, Evo View and Evo Discover making the television perfectly the next generations device with with a large screen gaming station; an on-demand music and movie theatre; an education hub and much more.
Powered by the Android OS 2.3.4 Ginger Bread, the device will allow you to access videos, games and websites using WiFi and broadband connection is also enabled in the device. The remote control of the TV works as a mouse and a mic has also been provided for voice and video chat using VOIP services like Skype.
The device has been researched and designed in Bangalore and Delhi and the company is expecting a rise of 70-75 percent growth in revenues with this product, with 50 percent revenue generation from this product only. However, the device will be manufactured in China.
